Robert Fleitz

Performer and composer Robert Fleitz is committed to curating mesmerizing and idiosyncratic performance experiences. As a pianist known for “mesmerizing” and “commanding” playing (NY Times) Robert has worked closely with composers including Thomas Adés, Kaija Saariaho, Esa-Pekka Salonen, and Tan Dun; and appears frequently as a soloist and chamber musician in the US and Europe. His “dreamy…ambrosial” compositions (Boston Music Intelligencer) synthesizes fragmented expressivity, performative vulnerability, devised theatre, and queer iconography. Recent commissions include the Off-Broadway show "Babel", Hilary Easton Dance Company, and JUX. He is a graduate of the Juilliard School and is based in New York City.
